Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

Had worn them really about the same,

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Yet knowing how way leads on to way

Somewhere ages and ages hence
Tow roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
단풍 든 숲속에 두갈래 길이 있었습니다
모두 갈수 없는 안타까운 마음에
발걸음을 못떼고 한참을 서서
낮은 수풀 아래로 휘돌아간 길을 내다 보았습니다.
그리고 나서 다른길을 택했습니다.
그것이 온당하고 더 나은 결정이라 생각했고
걷는 사람이 적어 풀이 무성한 길을 가고 싶었기 때문입니다.
그 길도 걷다 보면 다른 길과 같아지겠지요.
그날 아침 두길은 똑같이 놓여있었고
낙엽 위로는 아무런 발자국이 없었습니다.
아, 나는 한쪽길은 훗날을 위해 남겨 두었습니다.
길을 계속 걸어야 했고
다시 돌어올 수 없을 거라 여기면서요
오랜 세월이 지난 후 어디에선가
나는 한숨 지으며 얘기할 것입니다.
숲 속에 두 갈래 길이 있었고, 나는
사람들이 걷지 않은 길을 걸었다고
그것이 내 모든것을 바꾸어 놓았다고
